Smedshagsskolan is a multicultural F-9 school with approximately 365 students and the vision “With us, everyone can reach their dream goals.”

The school is located in Hässelby Villastad and has a high socio-economic index. The unit is single-parallel, and teaching takes place in a two-teacher system, meaning that there are two teaching teachers as basic staffing. The instruction focuses on extra reading and language-developing methods. The facilities are modern and purpose-built, and the school has a good IT standard. Smedshagsskolan is a staff-dense school led by a principal together with two assistant principals and an administrative manager.

Your skills and experience

• Qualified and certified teacher in wood-metal crafts for grades 2–9.
• Have a very good level of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• You should have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to develop the operations and see opportunities.
• You should be both project-oriented and results-oriented and able to work independently and take your own initiatives.
• You should be able to capture and deepen students' interest in your subjects, have a strong interest in students' knowledge development, and see opportunities for growth.
• You should enjoy meeting students and have a good ability to connect and create participation in the group.
• You should work on language development and contribute to collegial learning.

We would like you to be open to taking on mentorship for students and contribute to their personal and academic development.
